Impact

This memorial scholarship, named after Jesus (Chuy) Rodelas (1952- 2016), is to honor students in performing or fine arts programs. Chuy, born and raised in El Paso, Texas, used his talents as an artist and craftsman in tireless support of local arts and Habitat for Humanity. He was a voracious reader, especially of history, and knew that the arts, especially theater and music, were a vital part of society, bringing joy and beauty to our lives. He would be proud to honor students in the performing or fine arts.
