Frances Maschio Scholarship

Impact

The Frances Maschio (Mas-Key-O) Scholarship was established in 1989 by Frances Maschio and dedicated “to the education of our young people.” She served on the Mt. SAC Board of Trustees, Soroptimist Covina, Assistance League of Covina Valley and numerous other philanthropies. Her career spanned 57 years with First Federal Savings and Loan of San Gabriel Valley where she retired as Vice-President and Treasurer in 1991. A patron of learning and a passionate advocate of education, Frances encouraged young people to establish a commitment to academics and achievement of their educational objectives. The Frances Maschio Scholarship is awarded to a student who has demonstrated determination and persistence in pursuing their goals in the Humanities and to an exceptional student pursuing an A.S. degree in Commercial Flight or Aviation Science.
