Impact

Karen Holte was a resident and full-time volunteer in the city of Walnut from 1971 until her passing in 2010. Her family has chosen to honor her through an endowed annual scholarship of $1,000 to assist Mt. SAC Nursing Department students in their pursuit of licensure as a registered nurse. Karen and her family believed that nursing is the very backbone of medical practice and patient care. There is no better way to honor her than to see deserving students complete the Mt. SAC Nursing program and graduate as an RN.
