Impact

Karen Gose loved life and dedicated herself to helping others. She worked as an emergency medical technician (EMT) for seven years before carrying that dedication over to nursing school. On June 16, 2012, Karen graduated from the Mt. SAC Nursing Program. On July 24, 2012, Karen passed away. A week after her death, she officially received her RN license. Karen’s loved ones have set up this fund to keep her spirit and dedication to nursing alive. Through this endowed scholarship, other emergency medical technicians and nursing students will be helped in the pursuit of their dream of becoming nurses. Karen’s love of life and enthusiasm for helping others will live on in the generations of nurses this scholarship will assist.
