Debbie Boroch Memorial Scholarship, part of The Osher Initiative for California Community College Students

This scholarship was established in honor of Mt. SAC employee Debbie Boroch. Debbie was a true daughter of the Mt. SAC family, having begun as a student here and giving almost her entire career to Mt. SAC. From teaching in the Biological Sciences Department, Debbie advanced to Associate Dean of the Natural Science Division and finally served as Dean of Instruction for the entire college. Debbie spearheaded many successful projects aimed at assisting under-prepared students with higher education, especially in math and science. This scholarship honors Debbie’s passion and dedication to Mt. SAC students.
