Bob McGuire Memorial Scholarship

The Bob McGuire Scholarship is awarded to a Mt. SAC student athlete transferring to a university having served two seasons as a member of either the cross country and/or track and field team(s), maintaining a 3.00 cumulative grade point average, and demonstrating substantial community service to Mt. SAC and/or their local community.

Bob McGuire is a member of the Mt. SAC Athletics Hall of Fame. An outstanding runner and team captain, he guided the Mounties to the 1957 track & field state championship, the college’s very first state championship. Bob generously volunteered with the CIF and Mt. SAC, always eager to impact the lives of students in a positive way. He was a graduate of Stanford University and life-long educator.
