Dr. Bill Feddersen Leadership/Service Scholarship, part of The Osher Initiative for California Community College Students

This award is endowed in the name of Mt. SAC’s sixth president who served as CEO/President from 1991 until his retirement in 2002. Under his leadership, the College constructed the Student Services and Performing Arts Centers, renovated the Library, and passed a $221 million dollar facilities improvement bond measure in 2001. In recognition of his support of student leaders, this award is given to a student demonstrating outstanding leadership qualities.
