Emergency Financial Aid Funds for Students

Supplemental Grants may be awarded to students who self-certify* that they meet the following conditions:

  • Meets all of the requirements for an exemption from paying nonresident tuition pursuant to §68130.5 of the California Education Code. (AB540);
  • Currently enrolled in 6 or more credit units;
  • Has earned a grade point average of at least 2.0 in one of the student’s previous three semester terms, or in one of the student’s previous four quarter terms OR the student is a disabled student who is receiving support through a community college’s disabled students’ programs and services;
  • Demonstrate an emergency financial need (with a documented unmet need of at least $1200); and
  • Qualify as low-income by meeting the requirements to receive a California College Promise Grant (CCPG)

Funds will be granted through 6/16/24 or until all funds are exhausted (whichever comes first).
