Beth Spicer Memorial Scholarship

Mt. San Antonio College established the Beth Spicer Memorial Dance Scholarship in 1982 in memory of the endeared professor whose passion and enthusiasm for the arts nurtured the College’s dance program into a first-rate creative force. Beth joined the Mt. Sac faculty in 1956. And over the ensuing 25 years, she inspired students and touched many lives with her warmth, her honesty and that calming smile, until she lost her battle with cancer in September 1981. Through the dance program and in many other personal ways, Beth will remain with us always.
