Emergency Financial Aid Funds for Students
Supplemental Grants may be awarded to students who self-certify* that they meet the following conditions:
- Meets all of the requirements for an exemption from paying nonresident tuition pursuant to §68130.5 of the California Education Code. (AB540);
- Currently enrolled in 6 or more credit units;
- Has earned a grade point average of at least 2.0 in one of the student’s previous three semester terms, or in one of the student’s previous four quarter terms OR the student is a disabled student who is receiving support through a community college’s disabled students’ programs and services;
- Demonstrate an emergency financial need (with a documented unmet need of at least $2,000); and
- Qualify as low-income by meeting the requirements to receive a California College Promise Grant (CCPG)
Funds have been exhausted for fall 2024.
