The purpose of this scholarship is to support sociology students who are planning to matriculate to a four-year college or university to continue studying sociology.

  1. I have completed at least 3 Sociology classes or am currently enrolled in my 3rd Sociology course and earned a 3.0 minimum GPA
  2. I will have unmet need at my transfer institution
  3. If you are enrolled in your third, fourth, or fifth Sociology course, submit proof of your current grade
  4. An additional 1-2 page typed, double-spaced on why you will be studying Sociology at a 4-year university is required. DO NOT INCLUDE YOUR NAME ON ANY PORTION OF YOUR STATEMENT.
