Nikita Spurlock Imam PRIDE Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship honors the memory of Nikita Spurlock Imam. Nikita was a student in the Computer Information Department at Mt. San Antonio College, when he passed away in October 2021.
Nikita was a creative writer and artist. He created and illustrated beautiful and amazing characters who came from the future and from space. Nikita was full of life and always optimistic. Nikita was someone who could walk into any room and immediately lighten the mood. His ability to connect with people was a testament to how humble and down to earth Nikita was. Nikita wanted those around him to have a good time. His positive attitude always allowed him to see the good in the bad. Nikita’s unwavering spirit allowed him to face challenges head on and come out on top. Nikita was a very good friend and ready to help anyone. He never made judgements about people. He was never afraid to speak his truth. Nikita enjoyed hiking, walking on the beach and playing video games. He also had a great love for animals. Nikita understood the importance of education and worked very hard to achieve his degree. This scholarship aims to help Nikita’s legacy live on through the education and achievements of the recipients. We will never forget Nikita and he will live with us forever and continue to shine his unwavering light.
