Monira Qutubuddin Memorial Scholarship

Monira was attending Mt. San Antonio College when she was unexpectedly killed in a freeway shooting. She was a bright, beautiful girl with a passion for helping others. Monira was studying microbiology at Mt. San Antonio College and hoping to transfer to a four year college to become a Physician’s Assistant. She was a compassionate human being with a heart of gold and a desire to help others. In honor of her memory, her family and friends have established a scholarship for young women, like Monira, who have aspirations of pursuing a career in the medical field. One scholarship will be awarded each year to a deserving student forever, with a hope that these young students will carry on Monira’s legacy of helping others, which she could not accomplish during her short life.
